This course is perfect for you. Group facilitators do not need to be highly qualified or exceptionally charismatic. What is important is a servant heart, teachable character, and a willingness to learn. SGF empowers all types of personalities with a proven framework for effective facilitation.

This is a crucial part of our training. The course will teach you about your scope of practice and the ethical responsibility of non-maleficence (doing no harm). You will learn how to identify situations that require professional help and gain the clarity to make appropriate referrals, ensuring the safety of your members and the integrity of your ministry.

Yes. The course was designed for busy ministry leaders. It is entirely self-paced and online, so you can work through the material whenever it fits your schedule. Most leaders complete the training in 2–4 weeks, dedicating just a few hours a week.

Most curricula provide the content (what to study). SGF provides the competence (how to lead). We focus on the facilitator’s skill, health, and ability to manage group dynamics, creating a safe and effective environment where any content – be it a Bible study or a support topic – can be impactfully integrated.
