FAQs

Find answers to common questions about our recovery programmes and how to get involved.

What's the difference between a recovery group and a specialised programme?

Recovery groups are general, open meetings for addiction and supporter recovery that run weekly and are ongoing. Specialised programmes follow a structured curriculum and have a defined start and end. Typically, programmes take 4-6 months to complete.

What costs are involved for participants joining a programme?

Typically, specialised programmes involve a fee for participants. This fee covers the facilitator's costs and is also an important demonstration of participant commitment. Fee structures vary depending on the context and needs of the facilitating organisation.

How do the digital workbooks work?

Digital workbooks are distributed to participants by their facilitator through the Bridge platform. Participants receive workbooks as downloadable PDFs via email. Facilitators manage the release of workbooks to participants according to programme progress.

Do I need previous experience to facilitate a programme?

No prior experience or expertise is required. Project Exodus provides in-depth facilitator training through our online Academy. Further equipping is provided through programme materials, detailed Facilitator Guides, and ongoing support from the Project Exodus team.

Can these programmes be integrated into existing church or organisation structures?

Yes. Our programmes are designed to integrate seamlessly into pastoral care structures, discipleship pathways, employee assistance programmes, rehabilitation centres, outreach initiatives, etc., while maintaining your organisation's unique identity and culture.
